This trek is rated moderate to challenging, with walking days averaging 5–7 hours. The terrain includes steep ascents, rocky trails, and suspension bridges over glacial rivers. Good physical fitness and some prior hiking experience are highly recommended. The route is non-technical but demands stamina and respect for altitude.

Training

Prepare with 6–8 weeks of pre-trek conditioning, focusing on:

Best Time to Trek

The most popular seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November), when skies are clear, the weather is stable, and trails are vibrant with life.

Avoid the monsoon (June–August) due to rain and potential flight delays, and winter (December–February) for extreme cold and heavy snow at higher elevations.
