Yes, trekkers can buy or rent all kinds of mountaineering gear in Nepal. Which you can rent around Thamel touristic area in Kathmandu and Lakeside Pokhara.
Although, If you required mountaineering gear for Island peak, Lobuche peak, or Mera peak Iconic Himalaya will provide most of them.
Besides, if you want to bring your own gear from the country, or if you have it already, you can bring them too.
