Aside from offering an authentic Nepalese experience, we believe in giving back to the community that has shaped us. All of us having come from humble beginnings have risen accordingly with need and opportunity, hence we understand the value of opportunities. Iconic Himalaya Adventure's mission of service to the community encompasses two forms: direct support and empowerment through employment.
We provide direct assistance to remote schools by providing financial help to needy families or by donating stationery and other necessities to the school. We also help the community in times of disaster through disaster management efforts and support the local health posts by donating beds and other essential supplies. Beyond this, we extend meaningful employment opportunities to capable and trustworthy individuals. We strive to create a cycle of positive impact, starting with our employees and extending to the communities of our origin. We believe in teaching how to fish, not just giving the fish.
Serving our community in the Himalayas is another key part of our mission. We make an effort to keep our mountains and trails pristine and adhere to a strict "leave no trace" policy, ensuring that we return with everything we bring into these sacred spaces. Recognizing the need for direct intervention in the current scenario of increasing global warming and climate change, we actively support individuals and local organizations involved in afforestation on a yearly basis. We not only provide plants but also offer financial support. Nature and Mountains, often worshiped as deities in the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, are very dear to us, and we take measures to maintain their magnificence.
