Bikram Lama is the youngest member of Iconic Himalaya Adventure team. Although born in Kathmandu, Bikram is originally from Kavrepalanchowk. He is 21 years old and serves as both; a porter and a trekking guide in our team. He first joined our team at just 16, after successfully completing his 10th grade. Bikram initially served as a porter and today he has led travellers to all popular routes like Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang and Everest.
Bikram was influenced by his father who was also a trekking guide, to join the industry. He is an an energetic and adventurous spirit who is always seeking thrilling challenges. His love for physically demanding activities extends well beyond trekking to cycling, hiking, and rafting. When exploring new routes, he takes on the role of a porter to familiarize himself with the terrain, climate and environment.
Currently, he is also pursuing his bachelor’s degree in travel and tourism management. In addition, Bikram is also preparing for his climbing training to obtain his climbing lisence. His can-do attitude, hardworking nature and lively spirit brigntens the entire team.
